The Mesa Easter Pageant returns for its 87th year, drawing crowds to the Mesa Arizona Temple’s north lawn for a stunning retelling of “Jesus the Christ.”
Running April 9–19, except Sundays and Mondays, this free outdoor spectacle begins nightly at 8 p.m. and welcomes nearly 10,000 attendees.
Featuring nearly 700 dedicated volunteers, the musical dramatization vividly portrays the life, ministry, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, combining drama, music, dance, live animals, and immersive special effects.
Director Jenee Prince and her team aim to inspire hope, peace, and unity through heartfelt performances shaped by the perspectives of those who knew Christ.
The acclaimed soundtrack, created by Rob Gardner and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and Spire Chorus, is available online.
With first-come seating, proximity to Valley Metro Light Rail, and language accommodations, this beloved Mesa tradition promises a moving community experience under the stars.
